Wedding Styling

Wedding styling that feels like the two of you

You may already know exactly how you want your wedding to look, or you may simply know how you want it to feel. We help you make sense of the ideas, spaces and details, then shape them into a wedding that feels personal, coherent and calmly handled.

We start with the people, the place and the feeling.

Our approach

We start with the people, the place and the feeling.

Every wedding begins in a slightly different place. You might have a folder full of ideas, a venue you love and a few details already chosen. Or you might know that the styling matters to you, but not yet know what it should look like.

That is a good place to begin.

We take time to understand what you have already planned, what you are unsure about and how you want the day to feel for you and your guests. From there, we help shape a clear styling direction for the ceremony, reception, tables and personal details, always working with the character of your venue rather than against it.

Alongside the creative decisions, we look after the practical ones too: what needs sourcing, what needs making, how the spaces will be set up, which suppliers need to be aligned and what needs to happen before guests arrive.

The result should not feel like a theme placed over your wedding. It should feel like the setting was always meant to belong to you.

How wedding styling works with Lavent

Our full styling service gives you both creative direction and practical support. The exact process is shaped around your venue, your plans and the level of help you need, but most weddings move through these stages.

  1. 01

    Initial Conversation

We begin with your date, venue, ideas and priorities. You do not need to have everything worked out before we talk; the first conversation is there to understand where you are and where you would value support.

  2. 02

    Styling Direction

We shape the visual direction of the wedding, including mood, palette, textures, key spaces and the details that will make the day feel personal to you.

  3. 03

    Planning The Details

Once the direction is agreed, we work through the practical decisions: what is needed, what can be hired, what may need sourcing or making and how each space will be treated.

  4. 04

    Venue & Supplier Alignment

We consider the layout, access, timings and supplier involvement so the styling plan fits the real flow of the day, not just the moodboard.

  5. 05

    Wedding Day Setup

On the day, we install, arrange and refine the styling so the spaces are ready before your guests arrive and you can step into the day knowing the details are in hand.

What wedding styling can include

Every proposal is tailored, but these are the areas we commonly support as part of a full wedding styling service.

  • Creative direction

A clear styling concept to guide the look, atmosphere and decisions across the wedding.

  • Moodboards & style planning

A visual roadmap for colours, textures, materials, key pieces and overall feeling.

  • Venue styling

Styling for the ceremony, reception and guest-facing spaces, planned around the character and flow of your venue.

  • Table styling

Support with linens, place settings, glassware, candles, stationery, centrepieces and the layers guests experience up close.

  • Decor selection

Guidance on which pieces to hire, source or create so the design feels coherent and the budget is used in the right places.

  • Personal details

Signage, welcome moments, keepsakes and smaller touches that make the wedding feel connected to you.

  • Setup planning

Practical planning for timings, access, delivery, installation, collection and what needs to happen on the day.

  • Supplier coordination

Styling-focused communication with relevant suppliers where needed, so the visual details work cleanly together.

The ceremony space, aisle and entrance

Ceremony Styling

The ceremony space, aisle and entrance

The ceremony is often the first styled space your guests will see, but it does not need to be overworked to feel meaningful. We look at the room or outdoor setting, the natural focal point, the aisle, the entrance and the moments that will be photographed most.

From there, we decide what should be emphasised and what should be left calm. The aim is to create a setting that feels intentional as you arrive, while still belonging naturally to the rest of the wedding.

The dining space, bar and guest areas

Reception Styling

The dining space, bar and guest areas

The reception is where the atmosphere settles. Guests find their seats, notice the tables, move through the space and begin to experience the wedding in a more relaxed way.

We consider the room as a whole: the entrance, dining space, top table, bar, signage, cake area and any details guests will pass throughout the day. The styling should help the room feel connected and inviting, with clear focal points rather than a collection of separate ideas.

Linens, place settings and table details

Table Styling

Linens, place settings and table details

Tables carry a lot of the feeling of a wedding. They are where colour, texture, flowers, candlelight, stationery and personal touches come together within reach of every guest.

We help decide how each layer should work: what should feel simple, what deserves more attention and how the table styling sits within the wider room. The strongest tables rarely depend on one dramatic detail. They come from the balance between all the small decisions.

Signage, keepsakes and finishing touches

Personal Details

Signage, keepsakes and finishing touches

Personal details do not need to be loud to matter. They might be found in the wording of a sign, the way a table plan is presented, a family reference, a keepsake, a colour that means something to you or a detail your guests recognise immediately.

We plan these touches alongside the wider styling so they feel woven into the day rather than added at the end. This is often where a wedding begins to feel less like an inspiration image and more like the two of you.

Wedding styling investment

Full wedding styling starts from £1,800.

The final fee depends on the venue, guest numbers, number of styled spaces, level of design support, setup requirements and whether additional sourcing, hire or bespoke pieces are needed.

We do not work from fixed styling packages because most weddings need a slightly different level of support. Some couples want help shaping the full visual direction from the beginning. Others have already made decisions and need someone experienced to bring the details together, refine the plan and manage setup on the day.

After your enquiry, we will talk through what you have planned, what you still need and what kind of support would be most useful. From there, we prepare a tailored proposal so the scope, styling direction and investment are clear before you decide whether to move forward.

Where decor hire, bespoke production or additional items are needed, those costs are shown separately so the full picture stays transparent.

Additional support can include

  • Bespoke decor and prop design Purpose-made pieces for ideas that need something specific to your wedding or venue.
  • Styling for preparation spaces Considered details for getting-ready rooms, morning-of spaces or areas that will be photographed before the ceremony.
  • Extra on-the-day styling assistance Additional hands where the scale, timings or venue setup requires more support.
  • Decor for pre-wedding celebrations Styling support for hen weekends, welcome dinners or smaller gatherings before the wedding day.
  • Additional hire items Selected pieces from the Lavent hire collection to support the overall styling direction.
  • Personalised signage Welcome signs, table plans, menus and other printed or physical details designed around your day.
